The Rebellious Water

An original, new adventure taking place in the world of Humius and Gintessa. The story follows Doran, a young man from the village of Kelter. Kelter has forever lived under the oppressive grip of the Richwood giants, and on the advent of reaching his art, Doran knows he has to leave before he’s taken in. He is joined by his friend Elly, who has recently been turned to an offgiant, and together they embark to fight the forces that have continuously robbed them and their people of their dignity and freedom.

The story goes through many different settings, some familiar and some new, while bringing back a few beloved characters.

This story was done as a commission, and is based on the setting that is visited during chapter 23 in my other story, Adventures in Humius and Gintessa.

• "But despite his long training, it had all been done in secrecy. He’d never sparred against a giant, and to realize the colossus before him was his foe made it feel like he’d dropped his competence somewhere and had to find it."
  
• "He sighed. Looking about himself, captured in this tent, for a moment he felt so stupid to have believed anything else would happen. They should never have left Kelter."
  
• "She brought her feet together, big toe against big toe, one enormous roof of sole flesh that flattened them all."
  
• “Shamelessness is power for us. If we are so wrong, so indecent, do something.”
  
• "Each toe looked succulent. Without doing anything, his heart was beating faster, his head warm. Ada’s feet had complete power over him."
  
• "Ada yanked out the shoulder straps of her shift, letting it fall down around her legs in a ring of cloth. The fullness of her size was never under question, but to see her naked left no doubts in Doran’s mind. The abdomen was relatively flat, despite the size, and her breasts were globes of power and love. So hefty and round, the nipples stuck out now, stiff and happy, while her womanhood was enlarged and sparkly from this fight."
